The

(BFA)
on

inaugurated
the
"15

branch,
in
Camama
ward,
Luanda,
under
its

With
the
opening
of
the
"15

branch,
BFA
increases
to
131
the
number
of
branches
in
the
country
and
its
158th
counter,
which
is
an

for
clients
in
the
region,
who
will

Throughout
the

BFA
intends

President
Jacob
Zuma
has
praised
Senegal
president
Abdoulaye
Wade
for
stepping
down.
Senegal's
president
of
12
years
conceded
defeat
after
losing
the
presidential
poll
to
his
rival
Macky
Sall
after
the
run-off
vote
earlier
in
the
week.
Wade,
who
took
office
in
2000,
had
faced
fierce
criticism
for
seeking
a
third
term.
President
Zuma
says
Wade's
decision
to
relinquish
power
was
proof
that
democracy
is
being
entrenched
in
the
African
continent.
Zuma
says:
“In
a
democratic
system
what
is
always
expected
is
that
the
loser
must
concede
defeat
and
accept
that
as
a
reality,
that
the
will
of
the
people
has
been
exercised.
We
appreciate
what
has
happened
in
Senegal. The
fact
that
President
Wade
has
said
I've
been
defeated
and
there
is
no
challenge
of
anything,
this
is
what
democracy
should
be.”
The
African
Union
has
also
praised
Senegal
president
Abdoulaye
Wade
for
stepping
down.
Sall
won
his
West

presidential
election
with

on
Tuesday
was

JUBA/KHARTOUM Sudan,

to

don't

war
JUBA/KHARTOUM
-
Sudan
and
South
Sudan
are
expected
to
resume
talks
on
Saturday,
with
leaders
of
the
former
civil
war
foes
playing
down
the
risks
of
a
war
after
the
most
violent
border
clashes
since
the
country
split
in
two.
The
neighbours
clashed
for
two
days
this
week
in
the
disputed
oil-rich
border
region,
in
the
worst
direct
fighting
since
South
Sudan
became
independent
in
July
under
a
2005
peace
deal
with
Khartoum
that
ended
decades
of
civil
war.
The
United
Nations
and
the
United
States
have
warned
the
clashes
could
reignite
war
between
the
mainly
Muslim
north
and
the
South,
where
most
follow
Christian
and
traditional
beliefs.
But
despite
the
violence
and
many
bellicose
comments,
leaders
of
the
two
countries
say
they
are
committed
to
peace."As
a
newborn
country
we
want
peace
with
our
neighbour
to
be
able
to
focus
our
energies
on
nation-building,"
said
Pagan
Amum,
South
Sudan's
top
negotiator.
"We've
had
enough
of
war,"
Amum
said,
echoing
conciliatory
comments
by
Sudan's
President
Omar
Hassan
al-Bashir
who
said
Khartoum
wanted
to
live
peacefully
with
the
South.
Struggling
with
economic
crisis,
neither
government
can
afford
a
full-scale
war
at
a
time
when
people
in
both
countries
are
war
weary,
diplomats
say.
But
analysts
do
not
see
a
breakthrough
at
the
Addis
Ababa
talks
after
Bashir
called
off
an
April
3
summit
with
his
southern
counterpart
Salva
Kiir.

Angola Education
minister
stresses
visible
gains
of
ten
years
of
peace
Luanda
-
The
gains
of
the
peace
during
the
ten
years
are
clearly
visible
in
the
education
sector,
since
there
are
more
students
in
the
system
and
a
balanced
implantation,
said
Friday
in
Luanda,
the
minister
of
Education,
Mpinda
Simao.
The
government
official
who
provided
this
information
when
speaking
to
the
press
on
April
4,
Peace
Day,
said
that
the
gains
in
education
are
clearly
visible,
unlike
those
years
in
which
the
concentration
of
the
school
network
was
mostly
on
the
coast
side
of
the
country.
Currently,
this
implantation
is
almost
everywhere
throughout
the
country,
although
there
is
not
the
same
pace
of
growth
in
all
provinces
there
is
already
occurring
in
favour
of
training
in
the
18
provinces.
"Today
we
have
the
secondary
technical
education
institutions
scattered
throughout
the
country,
which
allows
each
province
to
train
staff
in
a
particular
area
and
to
ensure
a
certain
retention
of
staff
who
contribute
to
local
development,"
he
said.
During
this
period,
he
added,
there
has
been
a
considerable
expansion
of
higher
education,
as
we
know
this
sub-system
currently
has
about
150,000
students,
as
opposed
to
15,000
ten
years
ago.
Four
years
ago,
he
said,
the
school
system
had
about
50,000
students,
now
this
number
has
tripled,
and
achieved
a
breakthrough
in
terms
of
increased
educational
coverage
at
the
level
of
higher
education.

China
02/21/2012
China
(The
Financial
Express)
-
China
is
facing
a
conundrum
over
the
“Lin-sanity”
phenomenon
that
is
sweeping
the
world
of
basketball
with
the
sensational
rise
of
Jeremy
Lin,
the
New
York
Knicks
player.
Mr
Lin,
23,
has
gone
from
obscurity
to
the
world’s
most-watched
basketball
star
in
under
a
week.
His
story
-
an
unwanted
player
who
shines
when
given
a
chance
-
has
the
right
mix
of
adversity
and
success
to
captivate
the
US,
but
poses
a
problem
for
the
media
in
basketball-mad
China.
In
mainland
China,
Mr
Lin’s
following
on
Weibo,
the
Twitter-like
microblog,
has
exploded
to
over
a
million
fans.
But
official
Chinese
media
has
been
notably
quiet.
While
this
is
partly
due
to
the
typical
slow
response
of
the
hulking
state-run
media,
there
are
signs
that
his
Taiwanese
background
and
devout
Christianity
sit
uncomfortably
with
government
censors.
On
Wednesday
morning
in
Beijing,
China
Central
Television,
the
sports
channel
of
CCTV,
the
national
broadcaster,
ran
a
taped
Champions
League
football
match
as
scheduled
instead
of
switching
to
a
live
broadcast
of
Mr
Lin
steering
the
Knicks
to
victory
with
a
last-gasp
“three-point”
basket.
Chinese
basketball
fans
have
been
asking
why
CCTV
has
not
shown
his
games.
Online
forums
are
awash
with
speculation
that
the
Taiwanese
flags
waved
by
some
of
his
fans
are
the
impediment.
China
considers
Taiwan
a
breakaway
province
and
rejects
any
displays
of
Taiwanese
independence.
...
Mr
Lin’s
Christianity
is
perhaps
more
awkward
for
China’s
atheist
communist
rulers.
While
Beijing
officially
sanctions
some
churches,
it
frowns
on
the
spontaneous
professions
of
love
for
God
that
pepper
Mr
Lin’s
postgame
comments.
Evidence
of
how
state
censors
would
like
to
downplay
his
religion
came
in
a
CCTV
news
report
when
he
was
named
a
National
Basketball
Association
player
of
the
week
on
Monday.
“I
love
the
fact
that
he
gave
praise
to
his
team
and
to
God,”
said
one
New
Yorker
interviewed
in
English.
But
the
Chinese
subtitles
translated
his
comments
simply
as
“I
love
him
for
praising
his
team”,
scrubbing
out
the
religious
